I saw this on Facebook, and I pinned it to interest, and I did it! I actually did this last week and wanted to wait and see how it would be after a week. It looks good!
So I saw this on Facebook, it said: How To Fix Scratches In Wood by Domestic Bliss Squared, check them out.
Anyway, the recipe was too easy not to give it a try. It takes 2, count ’em, 2, ingredients! And I think we all have these 2 ingredients in our pantries. White vinegar & Olive oil, mixture of 1/4 cup vinegar and 3/4 cup olive oil.
Well, it works. Only thing that worries me is, olive oil, like most oils can go rancid, that’s why they tell you not to use it on your cutting boards, they recommend mineral oil. But I guess in a pinch, its an okay thing to do. Like I said it worked, and after a week still looks good, but I think I’m going to get some mineral oil and see how that works. I’ll get back to you on that, once I remember to get it at the store. You know how that is.
